This is my world, and welcome to it.

Within you will find, starting with the most recent post, homework assignments, links and any other items I may deem fit to insert into each tagged page relevant to your class.

Each page will be tagged/categorized so that you might -if you so choose- look only at those postings that are relevant to your class. Homework will be posted everyday and maintained there. So, the first thing out of my mouth in response to such questions as, “Mr. Powers; what was the homework today/yesterday/last week/back in 2006?”, my default response will be, every time, “Have you checked my webpage?” Since you are asking the question, my default response question can be treated as “rhetorical”; that is, a question to which the answer is already known, and I am illustrating a point; notably, your refusal to check this webpage, and your need to do so.

Also, you will (eventually) find on the menubar to the right a number of links that you might find useful/interesting/helpful. Use them as you wish, unless I TELL you to use them. In which case, of course, I expect you to use them.

I strongly recommend that you check this webpage everyday. I know it’s not as fun as Facebook, online video games and perhaps not as ethically dangerous as a Sparknotes page, but it can be an indispensable tool for your use in succeeding in those academic pursuits that I place in front of you. Make use of that tool.
